Bio
*****INTERNATIONAL READERS: PLEASE EXCUSE MY POOR ENGLISH***** I was born in 1974 in Sao Paulo, Brazil and I've played drums since I was 14 years old. I studied in many music schools, such as Fundação das Artes de São Caetano do Sul (where I joined the Orquestra Filarmônica de São Caetano do Sul) and Instituto de Bateria Vera Figueiredo - IBVF - (where I also worked as drum teacher). As teacher I started when I was 19. Because of that and the growing passion for the drums I gave up my college studies in biology to dedicate myself full time to teaching and playing drums. I have performed in numerous bands over the last years performing original and cover material. To highlight two of these works, from 2000 to 2002 I worked as sideman for the brazilian guitarrist Fernando Deluqui - former guitarrist for the most famous brazilian rock band in the 80's - RPM. This gig allowed me to play in many cities (like Curitiba and Rio de Janeiro) and some TV shows as well. Another work that I enjoyed was rehearsing and recording with the band Hedgear between 2001 and 2005. It started like "well.... let's do it..... I think" and today we are very good friends. Nowadays, I divide my time teaching and playing in all Greater São Paulo Area with all kinds of bands. To finish it I'd like to leave a small statement here: I will never be able to thank enough Vera Figueiredo (one of the best teacher and drummer in Brazil) - a very serious professional and a great person. Through the BATUKA! MUSIC FESTIVAL which she produced I had the chance to meet some great musicians who taught me how a drummer should sound and behave. I worked at BMF as roadie and stage director, and some of the musicans I had the great oppotunity to work with are: Virgil Donati, Dennis Chambers, Dom Famularo (one of my heroes), Jim Chapin, Akira Jimbo, Sam Aliano, Dave Weckl, among others. -

10 of 17MoreHello Louise. Where are your pics? I'd like to see who you are..
hello,i am you fans.

Hey.
Hey Edu Diniz
If you have a minute, please come check out the new song Alex Hirsch wrote after reading Einstein's private manuscripts and quoting his memoirs directly. The song is called, The Stormy Seas of Time and features Ken Oak on the Cellos, Bionik on the Drums and Production, and of course, Alex Hirsch on the guitars pianos and singing.
And remember, all it takes is 3 little dollars to get any of his full albums at www.keywinsproductions.com.
A fair price for up to 17 songs! Finally, good music that is priced correctly, not another record company rip off!
Hey Edu, thanks so much for your support! keep playing your heart out!
