We're firm believers here that ordinary people can do extrodinary things, it's often the simplest acts that are truly the greatest wouldn't you agree?
EDUN LIVE is based around the power of the t-shirt.EDUN LIVE makes t-shirts that support sustainable socioeconomic development. Put simply, that means that when you buy one of our shirts, you help us to employ people in Africa who might otherwise be unemployed. We work with disenfranchised African citizens, teaching them to grow cotton, sew, and participate in the textile business. Our shirts are made in Africa by Africans. We support communities, give jobs to the jobless, and teach skills to people who lack specialized training.
Who I'd like to meet: This Summer EDUN LIVE were lucky enough to tick some of the many people we'd like to meet off our list. Together EDUN LIVE and VBS.TV traveled to Africa where we got to hang out with some amazing Skateboarders, Breakdancers and the Ugandan Football Club as well as our furry friends below. We feel particularly privileged to have met these beautiful creatures considering there are are only around 750 mountain gorillas left in the world and with none of these magnificent animals in captivity there threat of extinction is great. So we took to Bwindi National Forest where the majority of these gorillas live, which has fallen prey geo-political turmoil in the region as well as poachers, to meet these gentle giants.
After all, if we can't save the closest evolutionary ancestor we humans have, what does that say about our own future?
