About me: Due to all the recent changes in the student loan industry, it is more important than ever to stay on top of your financial aid. If you are currently in college, or getting ready to go in the Fall, make sure you have filled out your FAFSA form, or renewed it from the previous year. The Stafford loan is a big part of financial aid for college students. A lot of big lenders have stopped participating in the Stafford loan program. This can affect you. For fall of 08, you should fill out a Stafford loan promissory note now, and then follow up with your financial aid office to make sure they have received notice from the lender you chose. This holds true for graduate students as well. Follow up often with 1. the lender you applied with and 2. with your school’s financial aid office. Feel free to message me with any questions.
