Rock and roll band based on melody, 3-part harmonies, and loud guitars since early 2002. Edward's first full-length, Forward/Backward, was released on September 8, 2005 on MeRL Records. Edward disbanded in July 2006. The final show at the Kraftbrau Brewery was recorded and there are plans for the new material played that night to surface soon as a swan song.
This was probably the best review of our CD (from a website called razorcake.org):
EDWARD: Forward/Backward: CD I haven’t even opened this because if I shake it, it makes a funny sound and makes my hand get tingly. Seriously, it’s been the most fun I’ve had with a CD in a long time. Can’t think of the right word? Shake the disc. Frustrated because the network goes down? Shake the disc. On hold for five minutes? Shake the disc until you giggle. Pretty color blocks too. –Megan Pants (Merl)
I really wish I had caught the last show. My buddy had me listen to "The Stars Are My Friends" and it's beautiful and sweet yet rocking. Really great- ready for a spot in a movie.
I do hope some kind of sweet reunion happens someday down the road...maybe some Christmas, or some night of destiny in the summer of '07.
is this some disgusting joke? Edward is dead...i was at the funeral..young girls wept...suicide pacts were made...i saw the horribly disfigured corpse with my own eyes
you're obviously some Edward wannabe trying to ride the coat-tails of a star that burned bright and fast but left the masses yearning for more.
get your own life and identity you sick bastard.
(in fact we have an opening in our p.r./marketing dept. for a sharp minded opportunist like yourself, please send your resume)
