About me:
Do you really want to know who I am? I think deep down, you already know...

THE EDWARD BALLISTER PROJECT. IT'S UP TO YOU HOW THE STORY ENDS....

This project is to bring together a group of dedicated authors who are prepared to write a chapter each in order to create a phenomenal piece of dark fiction, resulting in a completed novel. Each author can take the story in any direction they wish, creating twists and turns to develop it into one of the the most exciting page turners in horror writing. Each author will have a different interpretation on the story, making this a unique experience for both writer and reader. Once the novel is complete it will be considered for publication. Each author will be recogized for his/her work, and get an equel share in any profits made. Jeff Ezell created this insightful idea and started the ball rolling with chapter one. Jessica Lynne Gardner developed it into chapter two and Charlotte Emma Gledson continued chapter three, so the rest is up to you! ENJOY!!

Contact Jeff Ezell, Jessica Lynne Gardner or Charlotte Emma Gledson (Lotte) at anytime!

Victoria Selene Skye Deme- Part of the Edward Ballister Team

Victoria Selene Skye Deme writes with eyes that see in a world of grammatical twists and verbal kaleidoscopes. For her emotions and images are framed in words and words are delicious sweets and scents and textures. This is what separates her from other poets and writers. Her composition of words blend into a unique form of expression beyond poetics and prose where grammar and syntax and word usage take on amazing new aspects and shapes. She is undoubtedly a visual writer, who has the creative capacity to compose words in a spectacular way that enables the mind to create its own cinematic interpretations and emotional evocations.

Cassandra Lee was born in little town, Barrie, just outside of Toronto, Ontario. The winter baby soon found herself gathered up and delivered to the prairies, where she spent most of her growing up years. He is also the author of many short stories and the occasional zombie poem.

Erik Smetana - Part of the Edward Ballister Team

Erik Smetana writes fiction that has been described as spooky, confusing, creepy, macabre and every once in awhile as fantastical, but always (or so he hopes) as entertaining. In terms of publication history (should anyone desire to know such things) he has been fortunate to see his words published both in print and online. A few examples of which can be found in 52nd City, Dark Distortions (anthology), Thieves Jargon and The Late Late Show amongst others. In addition to aspirations as a writer of fiction, Erik is also proud to be a contributing writer for The Horror Library (including duties as the Wednesday writer at the Blog-O-Rama) and to have served as part of the editorial team for both of Cutting Block Press's upcoming anthologies.

She has a webzine entitled Static Movement www.staticmovement.com where she publishes other writers stories and poems.

Stephen W. Roberts - Part of the Edward Ballister Team

Stephen W. Roberts is a 20 year old young man of dreams. He was born in 1988, a third and final child to Donna Roberts and Mike Crane. Had they known the Hell that they would be unleashing unto the world, perhaps they would have wished for twins. Darkness has never been something to be feared by Stephen, in fact he has always embraced it. While other children watched Barney the purple dinosaur or Kermit the frog, Stephen watched Nightmare on Elm street, Friday the 13th and child's play. His interests grew when he saw movies like the Saw series and then became aware of real life monsters like Ted Bundy,Jeffrey Dahmer and John Wayne Gacy. Stephen is a writer of great horrors, one of which was featured in the Requiem For The Damned Vol.1 anthology by Word Weavers, that being his first publication. He has many dreams for his writing carreer and Edward Ballister is proof that they come true. Stephen W. Roberts has two novels in the works titled "Fester" and the other being "Diary of serial killer" both far from finished, yet so close to fruition. Stephen currently lives on the Southside of Baltimore with his loving and supportive family, without whom he may not have even come as far as he has. He prides himself on two things above all, being his storytelling and his Sister's children. He was there from day one and loves them like his own, giving Theo, Tony and Gabby his soul which is normally only ever done in his stories.

W.Todds Banks - Part of the Edward Ballister Team

W. Todd Banks is new to the writing world having only two publications to his name. He is currently writing several screenplays, most notably his vision of Mark. E. Deloy's "Bagman". He is also a Co-editor over at Dark Discoveries Magazine (www.darkdiscoveries.com). He spends a lot of his time at +The Horror Library+ office at zoetrope.com.

Mark Mihalko - Part of the Edward Ballister Team

Born and raised in scenic Uniontown, Pennsylvania, I got my first taste of darkness and the unexplained in the Appalachian Mountains listening to the folklore from generations of pioneers. These legends and lore hit close to home, and opened my mind to the unseen world that exists. In conquering these possibilities, I have found my inner self and an outlet for my writing. In May 2007, I completed Walking Before Dawn ($12.95 - Publish America – ISBN 1424176816), where I explore the worlds of the unexplained and darkness in my own poetic manner, venturing into the abyss that continues to haunt my soul. Through those words and my muse, I have discovered the secret to unlocking the brooding and desolate demons I harbour. These same ideals led me to work on non-fiction and fictional items dealing with darkness, despair and the unexplained. I have had articles and stories published in Mysteries, FATE, Haunted Times, Horrotica, Doorways and Revenant Magazines and been lucky enough to be the focus of the Poet of the Hours for the Graveyard Press, the official webzine of the Vampire Nation. Website. www.myspace.com/markmihalko

Matthew Alan Pierce - Part of the Edward Ballister Team

Matthew Pierce started writing stories at the age of 14, but had been using his imagination since birth. He was born in Kentucky, but now lives in a small quiet town in Indiana, peaceful, and just the right ingredients for storytelling. He share my life with my his family, and one can always find Dogs and cats running around; they help complete the chaos, but he wouldn't have it any other way. Matthew has written two horror novels, Reflected Evil, and The Dark Curse Of Whispers. He has also written several short stories, appearing at amazon.com, as well as Published in anthologies; Including Word Weavers, Darkened Horizons, and the online horror E-Zine 13 Human souls. He has written more than five hundred poems, and has been awarded thirty awards, including Editor's Choice Awards, Poet of the Year Awards, and one Prometheus Muse Of Fire award for excellence in poetry. He was recently divorced, so currently single, but not really looking, (Laughing overtly.) Instead he considers that part of his life temporarily retired. Links: His novels and amazon short can be found at www.amazon.com Website: http://www,myspace.com/emancipatedtales.

Remor Sless - Part of the Edward Ballister Team.

Remor Sless currently resides in his birth state of North Carolina in the United States of America. He has lived in many places along the eastern coast and has also lived in Pennsylvania; where he attended college at ICM in Pittsburg, attaining an Associate’s Degree in Specialized Business – Criminal Justice. He is currently employed at a large correctional facility, and is enrolled in college for his Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice. His girlfriend continues to be a source of both inspiration and encouragement for him, and his family continues to be the endlessly entertaining victims of his “sick, twisted, and possibly psychotic” imagination. He is a member of www.monstrous.com under the name “Moloch” and has published many original poems and a few other works on that site.

Andrea Colleen - Part of the Edward Ballister Team

Andrea Colleen is a writer, seamstress, artist, and free spirit that lives and creates in beautiful Colorado, where the mountains have always inspired her. Her favorite genres to write in are horror and erotic horror, although she also enjoys creating fantasy, romance, and adventure worlds and has been known to pen poems from time to time. She has been published in two editions of Darkened Horizons; Issue 3 and the Valentine’s Special edition Till Death Do We Part, and is also soon to have several stories in the 2008 Ladies of Horror, which is set to be released Halloween 2008.

Benjamin Bussey - Part of the Edward Ballister Team

Benjamin Bussey, in between duties as husband, father and fanboy, likes to write horror. His short stories have appeared in Twisted Dreams magazine, 13 Human Souls, Dark Fire Fiction, and the Magus Press anthology The Sound Of Horror. Another of his stories is set to be featured in the Blu Phier zombie anthology Night Of The Working Dead, due October 2008. He presently resides in the European Capital of Culture, Liverpool, and when not daydreaming up some suitably outlandish material for Edward Ballister, he is putting the finishing touches to his first, as yet untitled novella.

P.S. Gifford - Part of the Edward Ballister Team

P.S. Gifford is completely fascinated with two things; the darker side of life and the written word. By age nine he had combined these two passions and was devouring several horror books a week and had, more significantly, began to write. In the early 1980s he relocated from England to California. Since then he has acquired dozens of professional writing credits including his well received first book, a collection of short macabre tales- The Curious Accounts of the Imaginary Friend. Three further books are slated for publication in 2008. Mr. Gifford will also be a guest author at this year’s Hypericon convention; http://www.hypericon.info/ For more details on this versatile writer, including samples of his work, please check out www.psgifford.com

Jeanna Tendean - Part of the Edward Ballister Team

Jeanna Tendean’s interest in the dark side began on her family’s farm back in the summer of 1982 when she was five years old. Her older, mischievous sister read her a bedtime story entitled, “Children of the Corn,” and immediately Jeanna was engaged, with her head in the dark, never to turn back again. Currently, Jeanna resides in Gadsden AL. with her husband and two boys. She is a pursuing a degree in General Studies. When she emerges from the pits of hell, that is, when she’s not writing horror, you can find her on the banks of the Coosa River, fishing for catfish. She has written over sixty short stories, some of which can be found at Reflection’s Edge, 13 Human Souls and Tales from the Moonlit Path. Jeanna is also among the many talented writers working on the Edward Ballister project.

Andrew Wolter - Part of the Edward Ballister Team

Andrew Wolter lives and creates within the metropolitan area of Phoenix, Arizona. Amidst the stucco and glass that surrounds his environment, Andrew enjoys incorporating both pop-culture, homoeroticism, and everyday events into a dark fiction setting. Such was his audience’s realization with the release of his first novel, The Rules of Temptation. Since his debut novel, Andrew has published short stories in magazines such as The Open Vein and The Ashen Eye Andrew has moonlighted as a freelance writer with over eighty-five published reviews and fifteen interviews for various non-fiction magazines. In addition to his contribution to The Edward Ballister Project, Andrew Wolter is the author of the upcoming epic horror novel, Nightfall. While his works blur genre boundaries, Andrew feels there is always a place for darkness in any work of art. He is currently working on a short story collection and new novel.
