Music, movies, comics and women, not necessarily in that order.
Music
All kinds of rock, techno/dance, opera, jazz
Movies
I write about movies for a living so I generally like almost anything.
Television
Don't watch much... Top Chef, The Soup, The Office, Survivor, The Shield... I miss Arrested Development and Oz.
Books
Barely have time to read much, which is why I enjoy reading comics since it allows me to read a full story on the subway in between movie screenings/interviews, etc.
Heroes
Leonard Cohen, Iggy Pop, Sonic Youth, Neil Gaiman, Alan Moore, probably many more and too many to list.
About me: I'm a professional movie critic and movie writer for a fairly prominent entertainment web site based in Houston. I'm their New York correspondent. I've also been a recording engineer and producer for almost 20 years, and I still do the occasional record/project, but really only working with people and on music I like. I pretty much wrote off the record company/music studio system years ago as something I don't want anything to do with. I also will frequently set up producers and musicians with their own music studios, show them how to use the software/computers and such, although in general, I'm focusing more on the movie writing these days in hopes of getting more involved in movie production once I've figured it all out.
what are you trying to say? I'm pimping my profile page out for the job?!?! WHAA? never. (*publicist wink, chomping gum, carrying a big purse while on my blackberry typing this*)
