About me:

I am a resident and community organizer of the West Ward of Easton and I'm full of bright ideas with the will to achieve them. My plans for the future involve, but are not limited to, taking all eight Cantons of the West Ward and developing each into self-sustaining communities, focusing their collective and individual efforts on building localized jobs, youth enrichment programs, events and activities, while managing any other task set out by their respective canton governing boards. The method of paying for these suggested changes will come from the events and activities, not through taxing. Edward feels that raising taxes isn’t going to change the social and political atmosphere in Easton; though, self-determining cantons would grant the affected citizens the ability to make the needed changes to their neighborhood, clear political red tape, and truly begin to instill a much needed sense of community. I know these ideas are fantastic, but they are obtainable. With the effort already committed by the Future Leaders of Freedom Project, the Easton Teen Center, The Community Action Committee of Lehigh Valley (CLCLV), Mayor Sal Panto, and many other individuals, organizations and representatives Easton can actualize a dream so many have fought for. To Wit: I am the co-founder of the Future Leaders of Freedom Project featured at the Easton Teen Center @ 1101 Northampton St. The FLFP is an even-driven youth empowerment project. The project contains 3 essential programs; political education, self-defense, art appreciation with an overall focus on revenue building. The Easton Teen Center is located in the West Ward, inside Canton 3, the same Canton I live in.
