  • Bio

Edwardia is the name for a collective of musicians who have all had previous lives but have now come together in this world to play a blend of Baroque Pop. Through classical guitar, cello, violins, accordians and an old upright piano a new singer from Belgium has now joined the ensemble and we are at last embarking on a short spell of live appearances in and around SW London. Trying to emulate the imaginary soundtrack to a sepia-tinged world that now only exists in old photographs and silent flickering films Edwardia co-exists between the then and the now. A sea shanty here, a tango there, tales of woe and lost love and real instruments. We hope you can come and see us soon...

Bio:

Edwardia is a rakish ne'er-do-well who can be seen swanning around the streets of London and the Home Counties in his tweed hand-me-downs. Through banjo, guitar, violins, accordians and an old upright piano he tries to emulate the imaginary soundtrack to a sepia-tinged world that now only exists in old photographs and silent flickering films. Edwardia co-exists between the then and the now - with one Brogue in the 'inbetween'. I hope that makes sense. He now has a bakelite disc of 16 compositions available. Please drop him an electronic communication if you wish to enter into a transaction. Photobucket
