EV/ EV/ (EE-VEE SLASH) is the acronym for songwriter-composer & producer, Edward Vinatea, a former New York Dj at The Tunnel (NYC) and currently, a mixing/mastering engineer in New York City. When he's asked, why that artist name? He answers: "It's simply my own personal way to separate an otherwise non congruent group of songs and music of mine, e.g., EV/Rock, EV/Pop, EV/Dance, etc..." His music and engineering career started back in 1984, and as a mastering engineer, he is worked with artists of the likes of Shirley Alston Reeves (The Shirelles), Cindy Blackman (Santana, L.Kravitz), singer-comedian and TV personality John Davidson, protest band Op-Critical, and the late Jimmy Norman among many others. -
