Edwin Daniel (1981) is a young mexican artist, painter and illustrator. He..s the initiator of a new art movement known worldwide as "Sinister Mexican Naïf" (SMN), that combines sweet beautiful characters with a morbid and creepy spirit, "just as the humans are" says the artist.
A son of his epoch, Edwin Daniel portraits the spirit of the man of the 21st Century. "This is a new age, I am an observer of the humanity, we are not really different from thousands of years ago, the same motives still moving us, I paint about everything that concerns the humankind: love, power and money, those are the themes about it..s based my artwork".
