About me: Hey Folks!
It has been a great summer indeed. La Excelencia's tour took us to Oslo, Norway for the Norway Salsa Congress, we visited Iceland (briefly, but we were there...), we performed in Montreal, Canada, and we just performed this last Saturday in the New York Salsa Congress. The response we got from the crowd was unbelievable! We gave them our best and they returned it right back at us!
All in all, we have done over 40 concerts this summer so far, and we're still going. The love we get from people everywhere is so fullfilling! Great things are in store with the band, but I'm not going to be the one to spill the beans (that's Jose and Julian's job), not quite yet, but you will all hear it soon, from the band's web site.
As you know, last year I was part of the motion picture 16 Blocks with Bruce Willis, were my song (written and produced by Ed McCoyd and sung be me, who else?) was the movie's main tune.
This year the band is coming out in the movie "The Big Shot Caller" were I have a speaking part! ... And I sing too! I think I should be getting some iMbd credits for this one soon... Also, look out for Ed McCoyd's famous tune Beseme adapted and performed by me, in the new Samuel L. Jackson movie coming out in the fall, "The Cleaner". All this and a real daytime job too!
I'm truly blessed. I'm having fun and enjoying the ride!!!
