I haven't had time to read any books lately!!
The last thing I read was the final Harry Potter!!
(shame on me...my brain is rotting as we speak!)
I am a big fan of Anne Rice and I've read all her stuff. I like Stephen King. I really got into "A Series of Unfortunate Events" by Lemony Snicket as well as Eragon and Eldest by wiz kid Christopher Paolini. Of course I re-read all the Tolkein every few years as a ritual. And I have read quite a bit of Heinlien in my younger years. I hope to get into something good to read soon. Right now I do magazines. I subscribe to National Geographic, Smithsonian, PC Photography, Digital Scrapbooking, Teacher's Helper and Parents magazine.

About me: Though I have been an active internet user since the mid 1990's, I just never got around to getting a My Space page! Perhaps working full time as a teacher and being a wife and mother got in the way.
But, here I am, for whatever it is worth. I still consider myself a musician. You should be able to hear some of my songs playing as you read this. I'm an avid photographer. I am an educator by trade.
I am a person who never belonged to her own time, always dreaming of the "days of yore" with nostalgic longing...whether it be ancient Greece, the Elizabethan Era, the swinging 1940's or episodes from my own personal history.
I am an aging bloom whose petals are starting to brown and curl along the edges. But I have always felt there was so much more to a person than outward appearance. The older I get, the more I find this to be true in other people as well as myself.
I think I am finally beginning to understand myself and accept who I am. Perhaps grace and wisdom will come to me in my old age...who knows. Perhaps I can share this with new friends and old.
