Influences
The basic principle of “efemer” – the deconstruction of musical temporality and the
impossibility of basically “zooming” into a piece of music – will be backed by its
performative nature: the audience will not only witness the musicians at work but also
at their daily routine: sleeping, eating and communicating.
Efemer can be watched in front of the tent in the Stadtpark in Krems and also live via
webstream.
The premiere of the music production “efemer” will take place on April
25th at 22:00h during the Donaufestival in Krems. 4 musicians will be inside of it, improvising an entire day long to a matrix of sound consisting of a piece of music stretched to a period of 24 hours – all under the scrutiny of the audience and the world wide web.
