Effie Braun has trained at both the American Comedy Institute and the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York City. She has appeared at various clubs, colleges and festivals in the US and abroad. Her productions aim to explore communal identity through comedy. Favorite venues played include Caroline’s on Broadway, The Crossroads, The Improv Comedy Club, International House, Middlebury College, the annual conference of the New Jersey Counseling Association, and the New Jersey Teen Arts Festival. Effie has also been an Artist in Residence at The Makor/Steinhardt Center of the 92nd Street Y.Members
