This husband and wife team met in Guyana, their home country in 1989 at their place of work. They are both children of Pastors and they started out playing music in their churches. Their early music education has been with the Royal School of Music, England and have both been certified by this body having successfully completed the required courses.
Naomi’s family migrated to Grenada in 1990, and Michael could not handle the idea of being away from his sweetheart; so exactly six months after they left he give up his career as an electrical engineer at the Guyana National Engineering Corporation and followed her to Grenada where he proposed and they got married on April 1, 1991.
It was in Grenada that this duo became known for their versatility on various instruments. Naomi however specializes in the Bass Guitar and Michael in Keyboard; between the two they play more than twelve (12) different musical instruments and they both sing.
The Haynes’ are members of the Music Teachers Association Board of Grenada and in this capacity Michael represented the Grenada Music Teachers Association at the Association of Caribbean Music Educators Seventh Regional Conference at the University of West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago, July 2003.
They have played for five international Artists and also performed at the Tobago Gospel fest which was featured on BET Gospel in the year 2002. They are known for playing, Gospel Soca, reggae, rock, jazz and worship. So far Michael and Naomi have performed at three International hotels both in the US and in the Caribbean, and have greatly contributed to upgrading the level of gospel music in Grenada.
The Haynes’ are both accomplished Music Teachers who have taught and trained worship bands and musicians worldwide. They are presently working on their first Jazz Reggae Gospel CD which is scheduled to be released in December this year.
The two have been married for 16 years and have three children.

Blessed bro & sis in christ. Your thughts mean much to me. It was quite a battle accepting this heavy ministry "keeping it real/raw". But there are some things that God needs to be said to some people that don't know what church even is. People on the fast life lane, Idol worhippers, and those who replace Chrsit with drug subsatnces and think they are being lifted higher...SO much to say. I hope you'll appreciate the album when it comes. Full Spiritual War topics...Strong content. In a world like this, gospel need not to be diluted because the hearts of men are just COLD. They need it RAW!!!
