Sounds Like
An amalgamation of all my influences! I have been told the sound is a bit Beatley! I've also been told my voice sounds like McCartney and Lennon! My guitar playing has been likened to Lindsey Buckingham! My bass playing has been likened to Flea! No one has ever said anything about my drum programming yet!!!!
I have been playing and writing songs for the last 20 years and in that time I have built up a back catalogue of over 150 songs.
People often ask "which comes first the music or the words?" I can honestly say it does vary:- I have composed music to a complete set of written lyrics, I have written words to a melody line, I have written an entire song from a title, I have started a song with just a riff, I've even written a whole song lyrics and tune in about 10minutes, anything can trigger me off!
I play Bass guitar, guitar (acoustic and electric), keyboards and drums, oh and I sing a bit too!
I have played Bass guitar and guitar in a number of bands both live and in the studio over the years including;
The Bastards, Vanden Plas, The Level, The Graheme Wilson Band and The Go Bananas.
Since 1999, I have been producing recorded demos of my songs on a four track recorder but in 2004 I started using a 16 track digital recorder and in 2006 I released my first CD "EGG BEEF NINE".
My latest CD "PEOPLE WATCHING" was released in May 2008 and you can hear 2 of the tracks from it now!
