The group formed (as seen on stage today) during 2009. In December it was decided to continue as The Construction Workers ('Ehitajad' in Estonian).

Majanduskriis on jõudnud ka ehitussektorisse - aeg on käest visata vispel ja kellu ning astuda lavalaudadele!
Grupi esialgne kooslus kujunes välja 2009. aasta jooksul antud esinemiste käigus. Aasta lõpus otsustati jätkata nime all Ehitajad.
