   About 18 Roses
The band was formed in 1998 in Downpatrick, N.Ireland. The current line up was finalised at December 2004 and soon after we released our E.P "All These Sounds." The E.P was received well with airtime being allocated on a number of radio stations throughout the country. We played a number of supporting gigs after this, recently 'Tell It Like It Is' spent a number of weeks in the UK unsigned top 40 reaching number 18. So if you like our tunes show your support by coming along to some of our shows.

Hey there,
Here's one from left field...
Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while back I came across some very disturbing information, which inspired me to make this video:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4
Both artistic (ensure you've good enough sound to enjoy the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though the source materials are somewhat aged, the fundamentals remain relevant today.
I encourage all to visit the YouTube web page above to learn more (Show your support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly re-post and circulate as widely as possible.
Help to raise awareness.
Say have you checked out my web site (http://www.faberoptime.com) recently?
Take care and keep in touch.
Best,
Faber.

Mark Dignam will be traveling to his native Ireland in February, for what truly will be a couple of those great memorable evenings. These gigs will be worth traveling for, that I can guarantee.

Thursday Feb. 5th, 7pm Vicar Street Dublin, Ireland with The Swell Season and friends. The gig is a benefit for people with intellectual disabilities and is likely to feature some memorable one-off collaborations.

Sunday Feb. 8th, 8pm Whelans, Dublin, Ireland. This is Mark's headline gig and he will be joined by some very special guests. This is Mark's old stomping ground, and might well be a nostalgia fest...
