Eight frets are a brand new acoustic soul sensation featuring the Exceptional vocals of Brennig Clifford. This acoustic act is a creation of Brenniig Clifford and Josh Webber formally of Late Uncle Richie.This duo was formed from mutual love of creative and expressive acoustic music as well as the enthusiastic sound of sixty's motown. Eight Frets acquired their name after guitarist Josh Webber found an old battered blue's guitar that would lose action and sound after the Eighth Fret and thus became the name of the band.The band offers a unique blend of stripped back acoustic guitar, Harmonica and strong vocals.

The day of reckoning is amongst us! Battleturfs Ultimate Battle of the Bands has come! The largest and arguably the most important annual regional band competition is having its finals, held at the legendary TJS in Newport on Saturday 23rd. Doors open at 6.30.
Its taken over 30 bands 6 weeks to get to this moment where 6 of the best unsigned bands battle it out to win a prize that will fulfill any fame hungry band.

Hi josh. Yes will do. Got a place to record my solo stuff soon so i'll be promoting it and doing as many gigs as possible so i'll keep you posted on support and stuff. I want a busy summer playing gigs if possible. Forgot to tell you i'm of to a festival in Barcelona in july and the Grindermen are on the bill. Can't fucking wait for that one.
