We have decided to end it here.
After long discussions we have decided to end EIGHTHNERVE. We’ve played over 200 shows across the country, met some incredible people and picked up some amazing fans.
We would like to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported us in any way, especially including Dave Chang and Philia studios, the HDLMA crew, High Gain, New Noise Theory, Miffstock Crew, The Rugby Club crew and James Magee, anyone who’s taken photos, filmed us or bought a CD and most importantly every one of you who got down to a show and sang the songs with us.
We would also like to thank UNKLE AL, BEN BERRY and CHARLIE WHATLEY.
Without you guys we could never have made this project happen. Your skill in artwork and Photography has constantly amazed us and we cant thank you enough for your belief in us and the hours you put into helping EIGHTHNERVE.
Also thanks to all the bands we’ve played with or supported, Sylosis, I-Remain, Far from Escape, Eviscerate, Jalopy, Serrated (RIP), Enemies of Reality/ Imola, Auberon Pheonix and the Dirt Box Fiddlers (RIP), Steal Back Your Life, Twenty 12 and the biggest bunch on wrong-uns we’ve ever had the pleasure of playing with… The Comanche Cipher… Big love to you all.
We are best friends and we will continue to play music together for fun, in one form or another because we couldn’t live without it in our lives but we will no longer play as EIGHTHNERVE.
We have two final shows that we will play: This Friday at Billirox 14th Dec, and next weekend at Guilford’s boiler rooms 22nd .Thanks so much to everyone who has helped or hindered, loved or hated the band. We wouldn’t change a second of the last four years.

eighthnerve tonight was amazing still they threw us out. but at the end of the day there was no way i was missing your set! you are too fucking amazing even watching your set thew the window and relfections of the windows. ha cheers for making the music scence around here fucking kick ass. take care .
alright lads im sad to here you lot are splitting up as you make some insane tunes but it has to end some day.
i played a gig with you lot like a month ago alton gig was pretty shite but still we played first and we had a proper rought set but oh well was our second gig. And second you played and you were fucking awesome like there was no room on stage but you somehow were jumping about lol.

You are all true insperation to the younger generation. You were stupid tight, fantastic musicians and always a pleasure to watch. It was a pleasure being there to help with getting your gear off stage, (mostly sorting Will out :p). I will miss seeing you guys as a unit but i'm sure i will see you around. I wish you all the best x
Guys im gutted to hear this. You really blew me away at alton but if its for the best then its probably the right decision. Would love to play with you guys again before the last show you play so if there are ANY and i actually mean ANY free slots we could play then we would be up for it. If not then no worries, ill try and get all the guys down to the guildford show. excellent work guys
