...draw influences from film, music, experiences and times passed, the sounds and songs produced are intended to sooth the listener; to take that person to a place of reflection and reminiscance, and though the songs will hopefully strike you as unique, fresh and intriguing, we also hope that these songs feel familiar, warm and comforting.
We are currently moving the collective in new directions with the addition of 3 new members...
Neil Giles aka Aviary Nation. Aviary will adding his deep and thought provoking lyrics and vocal style to the equation. We have worked with Aviary before - he was the artist responsible for creating our DJ / Graff logo, and he also featured on a track called Four Twenty Fax from our debut release, Music Is Matter on Split Femur Recordings. He can also be found representing Project 13, spitting lavish pre-writtens and freestlying his way through the night at Mr. Wolfs, Bristol, on the 1st Tuesday of every month, which is not to be missed!!!
Ash Walkeden AKA Rupture. Ash is our new drum / percussion programming master, and also a DJ in the EPC family. We feel he offers alot of scope to both compositonal work and live sets alike - with the ability to DJ any style he lays his hands on, from Drum and Bass, Gabba and Freeform, to Dubstep, Dub and BTM. With a heavy influence from Hardcore and Gabba - expect to hear a very dark (though not always eratic) input on the EPC sound, paving the way for eerie and paranoia inducing Dubstep, and some of the nastiest and creepiest synth lines this side of electronic music.
Eva Lazarus. Eva has been a friend of ours for a long time now, and through the years we have witnessed her vocal talents grow and grow and grow - and they show no signs of stopping. Being involved in many musical projects along the way (including 'Equus Cabali' from 'Music Is Matter') has been a big part in her development, with the ability to get vocal many, many music styles, ranging from Trip-Hop, Soul, Funk and Hardcore, as well as the odd live PA for Drum and Bass DJ's such as Nicky Blackmarket (Gyroscope Records) and Danny Byrd (Hospital Records).
EPC hope...
...that what you have heard on our page, will be in some way be either influential, touching, compelling, inspiring, reflective, absorbing or uplifting. Or all of the above.
