Do you believe in magic?
Eight Two does. And in drum machines, toy instruments, and dancing in the streets to songs that make you cry.
With experimental leanings and nostalgic temptations, Eight Two enters a new musical reality that makes you believe in magic. Eight Two performs from a place in their hearts that connects so perfectly with yours.
Setting out to make danceable music no matter the subject, Eight Two achieves something magical with their upcoming self-titled album. The title track is reminiscent of an epic song from the '60s-- clocking in at 8 minutes, it is a wonderland that Alice only dreamed of visiting. Other songs, like "River Sponge," "Shiny Purple Tiger," and "Cupcake" are mystical love songs, beautiful and creamy, reminding you what the fantasy of love feels like.
Eight Two nonchalantly defies traditional genre classification and keeps an open mind about the sounds that come out. As long as they are from the heart, anything goes.
Hey ya guys, I totally love your sound! That Wondering -song of yours reminds me from some stuff by Eels, don't know how you'll take it, but from me it's a HUGE compliment, coz I love anything by them! Hopefully you're having loads of fun over there!
