Eileen Howard – Vocals Eileen has over 15 years of performing experience as a singer and actor. Fritz the Night Owl, DJ on Smooth Jazz Radio described her as having “A terrific voice, fresh interpretations of well-known lyrics, and solid jazz sensibilities” when her CD All Kinds of Weather” was featured on his show. She is an exceptionally versatile and engaging performer, with styles ranging from belty blues to sexy ballads to funky R&B. Eileen also is the music director for Harmony on the Southside and provides vocal music at the Open Mic program on the Southside of Columbus. Both these programs, part of Community Development for All People, help people discover the joys of making and hearing music, especially those who are marginalized.
Richard Lopez - Piano Richard has appeared with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, the Columbus Jazz Orchestra and as guest artist with the Pro Musica Orchestra. Lopez performed in Mexico under the auspices of the United States Information Service. Currently a faculty member at Otterbein College in Columbus, Ohio, Lopez also taught at the Ohio State University, the University of Akron, Denison University in Granville, Ohio, and at Capital University. Lopez spent last year living and performing in Los Angeles, where he completed a soon to be released CD of jazz originals.
Roger Hines - Bass Roger has over 30 years of performing experience, including seven years touring and recording with the late great Ray Charles, and 16 years as Music Director for Grammy Award-winning jazz vocalist Diane Schuur. He was Jazz Studies faculty member at the Ohio State University for over 12 years. He performed in venues such as the Blue Note, Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Hollywood Bowl, and the White House, and appeared on the Tonight Show, CBS Sunday Morning, Good Morning America, and Ray Charles' 40th Anniversary Special
Matt Wagner – Drums Matt has been playing drums for over 33 years, with many awards. Matt has been playing professionally for 25 years with such artists as Vince Andrews, Bobby Floyd, Hank Marr, Columbus Jazz Orchestra, Kim Pensyl, Cecil Washington, Joey Calderazzo, Randy Brecker, the Ink Spots, the Four Aces, Arturo Sandeval, Tito Puente, Jack Jones, Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, the Stars of the Lawrence Welk Show, and his own World Trio Jazz.
