Hi! My name is Olga, I begin to compose at age 16 inspired by American folk singers, (I owe this to my father). Later, working with Kike Colmenar, 'Eil' becomes a pop band!, playing in quartet with bassist and guitarist, Gustavo Cruz and Toni Just. The studies in the TALLER DE MÚSICS DE BARCELONA approach me to the jazz world. A great moment for me was discovering the label "Jazzland",Nordic music fascinated me and still do. Along with saxophonist Gerard Marsal, recorded my first album 'The spring's jealousy. " under this influence(Youtube.com / OlgaPesGerardMarsal) Today' Eil 'is formed by Kike Colmenar on percussion, Tony Just on electric guitar, Jordi Vendrell on contrabass, voice and Gerard Marsal sax, flute, voice... i appreciate the warmth with which they treat the music we make. Hola! Mi nombre es Olga, empiezo a componer a los 16 años imfluenciada por los cantantes de folk norteamericanos,(esto se lo debo a mi padre). Más tarde, trabajando mi estilo con Kike Colmenar, 'Eil' adquiere un carácter mucho más pop, sonando en quarteto junto al bajista Gustavo Cruz y el guitarrista Toni Just.
Gracias a los estudios en el Taller de Músics de Barcelona el jazz influye tambien en mi música.
Un gran momento para mi fué descubrir el sello 'Jazzland', coincidiendo con el Festival de jazz de San Sebastian, donde escuché distintas propuestas musicales de los Países Nórdicos, me fascinaron y siguen haciéndolo.
