Sounds Like
We sound like ourselves, we like to think (although journalists has made some weird comparisons). Sometimes light, often heavy. We mix different styles and play them our own way. We have finally managed to upload some music for you to listen to, and we hope you will enjoy. The lyrics are mainly in Norwegian, but hopefully you will find it worthwhile to listen to anyway.

Einmal Kommt die Liebe is a trio from Oslo, Norway. Einmal Kommt die Liebe means something like:
One Day Love Will Come. (The question is of course: Aber Wann, Aber Wann - But When, But When?)
Here is a short story about a long one:
We met in the mid-eighties in our band called "Garden of Delight" (goth-band from Oslo).
We had our first gig in December 1988, so we have been playing for quiet a while.
We have done numerous gigs, among them Roskilde Festival '92, Molde-jazz '92,
TV-jobs, club-jobs, Vossa-Jazz 2000 and more. Mike Scott from the The Waterboys picked
us out from a number of demos, and we did support jobs for the Waterboys both in Oslo
and Stockholm two years in a row. We have also worked with
Swedish Stefan Sundström, both in Norway and Sweden. He also appears in a duet with Mai-Britt on "Dampveivalsen" from "Fem fra Glemselen & Åtte fra Hukommelsen".
We have played "musical dramas" The first one in 1995, "Anna - Ondt Blod fra Mysen" (Anna, Once upon a time in Mysen) and a Zarah Leander show in 2000, "Rosor & Champagne" (Roses and Champagne).
The music from this cabaret was released 30th August 2007, on Provocateur Media, on an album called WUNDERBAR!

Lasso (elastique) play at Sound Of Mu (Markveien 58, 0550 Oslo) this Sunday, October 4th. We're supporting indie-folk band The Burning Hell and Black Molly, both from Canada. With three acts playing and us probably on first, we could be starting as early as 8 p.m. I expect entry will cost around kr 50,-
Tuesday, October 6th, Lasso play their own concert at Månefisken Café (Sagveien 23A-5, 0459 Oslo). Between two waterfalls by Oslo’s river, Akerselva, lies the legendary Moonfish. That’s where Lasso go sunfishing. Entry is free. 9 p.m. should be a good time to come.

Lasso (elastique) play a gig with a view as part of a free (YES, FREE!) festival at Café Utsikten. It’s starting at 2 p.m. but I don’t know exactly when we are playing yet.
