Music
I've been listening to more classical music lately -- Mozart, Beethoven, Bach etc.. Two of my favorite musicians are Japanese: Yuki Kajiura and Yoko Kanno. I love Celtic music, certain movie soundtracks, the Beatles, Norah Jones, Jars of Clay, Tracy Chapman, PFR, U2, Sixpence None the Richer, and an eclectic mix of many others. iTunes' shuffle feature is my friend. :-)
Movies
Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Chronicles of Narnia, Serenity, The Spiderwick Chronicles, Pan's Labyrinth, Mirrormask, Tomb Raider, The Matrix, X-men, anything by Jim Henson (may he rest in peace), The Last Unicorn, most any anime by Miyazake, various other anime. My favorites tend to be fantasy and sci-fi, and sometimes dystopian.
Television
Firefly... Alas! that such an engaging and wonderful show was canceled (but now I can watch the DVDs whenever I want). I'm into CSI (Las Vegas), when I happen to be watching... which is usually during dinnertime. *wicked grin* I also like various anime series, including Cowboy Bebop and .hack//sign (awesomest soundtrack ever). The absolute best "reality" show on TV is Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. That show does a lot of good and touches me deeply. (I'm not usually one to cry because of a TV show, but this is an exception.) :-) I don't watch much TV, actually; it's generally a time-waster. But a scant few shows are worth wasting a little time on. Addendum: Dollhouse is being interesting....
Books
The Firebringer trilogy by Meredith Ann Pierce, A Wrinkle in Time (etc.) by Madeleine L'Engle, many books by Stephen Lawhead including the Pendragon cycle, the Belgariad by David Eddings, The Stone of Farewell by Tad Williams, and many others. My favorite recent acquisition is Arthur Spiderwick's Field Guide to the Fantastical World Around You. Tony DiTerlizzi's drawings are awesome -- a must for fantasy fans.
Heroes
Jesus of Nazareth. I admire many other people, but to a much less and not quite heroic degree. Besides, He's the only One I actually worship. :-)

A Woman's Shortcomings She has laughed as softly as if she sighed, She has counted six, and over, Of a purse well filled, and a heart well tried - Oh, each a worthy lover! They "give her time"; for her soul must slip Where the world has set the grooving; She will lie to none with her fair red lip: But love seeks truer loving. She trembles her fan in a sweetness dumb, As her thoughts were beyond recalling; With a glance for one, and a glance for some, From her eyelids rising and falling; Speaks common words with a blushful air, Hears bold words, unreproving; But her silence says - what she never will swear - And love seeks better loving. Go, lady! lean to the night-guitar, And drop a smile to the bringer; Then smile as sweetly, when he is far, At the voice of an in-door singer. Bask tenderly beneath tender eyes; Glance lightly, on their removing; And join new vows to old perjuries - But dare not call it loving! Unless you can think, when the song is done, No other is soft in the rhythm; Unless you can feel, when left by One, That all men else go with him; Unless you can know, when unpraised by his breath, That your beauty itself wants proving; Unless you can swear "For life, for death!" - Oh, fear to call it loving! Unless you can muse in a crowd all day On the absent face that fixed you; Unless you can love, as the angels may, With the breadth of heaven betwixt you; Unless you can dream that his faith is fast, Through behoving and unbehoving; Unless you can die when the dream is past - Oh, never call it loving!

Have a lovely weekend my sweet friend! Kisses! Chele
Thanks! I think we actually have a lot in common (I am a huge fantasy buff. I love fairies, elves, unicorns, etc.), but I couldn't fit all of them onto my page :p. Pleasure to meet you as well. Take care. Salam Eire. Btw, could I buy some of your stuff? I really loved the dragon pic you posted on my comment page and am thinking to purchase something like that for my bro's birthday? Please let me know if this is all right.
HI!! I am back from WA, and I had a GREAT time! We missed last Sunday because Billy's little sister is going to Japan(she's in the Marines) for 2 years, and we had a farewell BBQ for her. We should definately hang out soon. Billy is still working(knock on wood) and I would really like to practice my bowling. I'm going to join the Transplant Games and enter in Bowling. The Games are next July/August, so I've got a little over a year to improve my game!! I'll talk to Billy, and see what our plans are for this weekend. I think his cousin is having a BBQ on Sunday afternoon, but maybe Saturday if he's not working?? I'll get back to you!
