Well... interests. Hmmm... there are many. I play some chess. I like music. And reading - expanding my horizon. Sometimes - on very rare occasions - I may be tempted to drink a beer (or perhaps twenty-four... :) ). I play a bit of football, also known as soccer. I guess I like computers, since I'm studying for it, and I guess I like the web a bit, since I got this webpage... I like apples... especially the green ones. Uhmm... and chocolate. And handcuffs, but that's a different story ;)
Music
Anything that has a good rhythm which kinda includes everything except every boyband on the planet.
Sometimes a nice tune can make it for the rhythm as exemplified by the guy with the pan flute
Mostly watch 'The Daily Show'... 'Simpsons' and 'South Park' alongside 'Reno911' are a hit as well.
Books
Well... I finished the 'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy'. It appears that there is a bonus to this, since almost all of my professors at the university like to make subtle jokes, which contain some reference to this book. So now I'm not completly lost when there is some nerdy joke at some lecture and everybody is having a laugh:)
The 'New York Triology' is just a tad to weird... so I skipped it
'Letter to a christian nation' by Sam Harris should be read by everyone!
At present I'm reading Chomskys 'Failed States'.
Heroes
That little spider in the corner. Have tried everything to exterminate it, but it is still marching on. I'm in the process of acquiring some serious stuff to get rid of it, but until then it will remain my one and only true hero!
About me: What to say... I'm currently studying computer science at DAIMI at Aarhus University. There is some strange stuff going on at that place. We have to learn all kind of freaky stuff, like how to traverse a network with maximum capacity . Fun enough if you are an engineer or working in a logistic department, but I'm convinced I'll never use it. In fact I have made a bet with myself, that if I ever stumble upon the Edmonds-Karp algorithm in my daily work, I'll donate my left kidney to someone! Which kind of brings me to my daily work.
I jumped ship, so at present I'm working as a student programmer at Healt Informatics, which is a research group under the Healt department at Aarhus University. Pretty new at the moment, but it's still pretty fun :)
I try to compensate for my nerdy daily life by 'socializing' a bit (a nice term for binge drinking). The 'socializing' activity is mainly conducted within the faroese house in Aarhus, where I'm also in charge of the finances. Don't exactly know how that came about...
The "faroese house"?!? Well... it's a place where people from the Faroe Islands come together. There are many faroese student in Denmark, and we have a place where we meet... mainly to 'socialize'.
What more... I play some chess here in Århus. Nothing big... just keeping my grey ones busy... the Edmonds-Karp algorithm isn't quite enough :)
Ohh... and then I'm plotting to rule the world, but that's just something I do in my spare time when I'm not busy 'socializing'.

Nei nei tað er tað sum eg altíð havi sagt um hesar hundarnar í Sørvági. Eingin dugir til nakað sum helst og allir vera vera behandlaðir sum heilagar kýr í India. Nei eg sigi bara eitt: Et minni og renn meir !! So skuldi seyðurin fingist í rætt,- heildur also !!
Okok, tað forstandi eg...tú ert óførur at studera, hevði eg verið so ófør.....fái ikki fingrarnar úr einum vissum staði, huff huff!!!!Jú tú, tað ljóðar gott at tú ert við upp á tað....jú tað eri eg við upp á....29. dec er fínt fyri meg....men er 2.jólakvøld ikki eisini ein møguleiki,tá eru tað fleiri klassar sum plaga at hava klassaball...dugi at fyristilla mær at tað er nokkso ideelt, ella???tú hev kanska aðrar planir tá????men, so er tað eisini at vit mugu finna eitt hús til endamálið osv....kunnu vit ikki bara mailast víðari um hettar???sindur meira persónligt..ha???

Ja nú er nakað síðan man hevur sæst.
Ikki er tað heilt sørt at man verður tikin av bóli av øllum hesum teknisku snildunum sum eru frammi nú í tíðini. Slíkt hevði man ikki droymt um tá man var ungur - nei tá hesin gamli var ungur fór man langan tein upp um fjøll og dalar til grannabygdina at frætta tíðindi. Nú trýsta tey bara á ein knøtt - hvat hendi vit glaðingini..... var tað ikki gott nokk??
