E.J is young woman born to a Cuban father and a Beigan mother in Sweden.
Her multicultural backgournd allows her to explore musical styles, that perhaps some people might feel are out of reach. Having trained as a classical balerina dancer from the tender age of five, she quickly got handpicked to dance with over 16's at the age of 7, for a respected teacher called Mr.Graham. Who trained and danced in the musical "Fame" in New York as a modern jazz dancer, whilst also modelling as a child model for the biggest department stores in Sweden. Becomming the very few prominent black child models in Sweden to be a part of a huge advertising campaign.
Having grown up in a large extended family of so many cultures, music has always played a very important role, allowing E.J to natrually explore music as an everyday gift, frequently singing in church and infront of the family. where her powerfull voice was often out at the front for leads.
E.J is not only a singer she is also a songwriter and a producer, who can comfortably handle the piano and guitar as a second instrument.
Having worked along side very talented people such as Kanye West, Jhon Legend, Skinny Man, Shola Ama and Big Brovas and having a completely unpromoted single in Atlanta charted in Atlanta, USA.
E.J is now in the process of working on her own album which she really anticipates, working along side some really intresting producers.
And has recently collaborated on productions projects in Atlanta, Holland, L.A and good old London, for the good of her anticipated album.
IT'S GONNA BE PROPPA!
Is Africa really fragmented, and has independence been achieved on this great continent only to see the African nations themselves transform differences into divisions? And are such divisions as already exsist, imposed on Us by history and circumstance, to be widened and deepened by Our own efforts?
Countries where the people have lost unity, mentally or otherwise, have become playgrounds and laughing stocks of outsiders.
Nobody knows better than We Africans that the policy of divde and rule is the aspiration of those who seek to benifit at others expense......
An age-old technique, which We may expect to encounter again and again in Our struggle to attain independance in fact as well as in name, is summed up in the maxim "divide and conquer."
The best chance for one county to attack another comes through noting the divisions of its people within
It is a sound tactic of military statergy to attack where your opponent's defence is weakest. It is surely sound statergy for all of us to move ahead where such movement is unobstucted and unimpeded
Unity should be the cornerstone of relations among African States for it would ensure confidence and cooperation. Dissunity, on the other hand, while dissipating their strength, always ends in regrettable results.
Our gratest weapon is the oneness which We share as Africans
