    I am currently the co-youth pastor at Pine Forest United Methodist Church...and I love my young people! They rock! I have heard groans more than once when some people hear I work with middle and high school age...but I consider it more of an honor and a privilege to be allowed to share in their lives. It is such a fabulous age where minds and hearts are usually still flexible and open. (even if they give off the "i know everything vibe." lol)~~~~If I take to heart the idea of being "fishers of men," I would have to say I am much better at cleaning fish than catching them. (so to speak) I like getting down into the nitty gritty of someones life. I want to know about the pain, grief, and brokenness in peoples lives. Pain, loss, and hardship so easily twist our character and paradigms, the way few other things can. I have heard others tell me that crying unnerves them. (and that's okay) But brokenness and tears have never been something that bother me. I would rather listen to someone weep for an hour...because in those moments they are usually more raw and real than the mask they wear the rest of the time.

  • Music

    I really don't listen to much of anything except Christian and Spanish music. In that vein, I like those groups that are somewhat on the "raw side" in their worship.     Not to bad. I hate you missed out. I do know the feeling of getting upset because you got sick. We call those bad pregnant lady days. That is also the code words for Grayson to be on the look out for strange behavior.
    Have you gotten to your sister? Maybe being at your sister's you can relax and keep you food down.

    Did I tell you I have Gestational Diabetes. IT SUCK BIG TIME!!!! The have my on a restricted diet. Me, watching what I have to eat can you believe it. Just when I get ready to eat us out of house and home. I get stuck with this. I am pissed about it. As soon as I get out of delivery I want ice cream.
