Established in late 2007, EKEN IS DEAD has only just begun its quest to reinvent hard music on the Los Angeles music scene. Drawing from influences as varied as Pink Floyd to Rise Against and The Doors to Rage Against The Machine, EKEN IS DEAD has begun honing a sound all their own. They live to play live and their 'No Retreat, No Surrender' attitude is evident with every performance. Supporting the summer 2008 release of their debut album, 'Amendment', EKEN IS DEAD maintains a relentless show schedule which has taken them all over the southwestern United States and soon beyond. Armed only with their instruments and the support of their fans, EKEN IS DEAD is a band without gimmicks-They rely on the ferocity of their music to grab the attention of every open ear they encounter. Take a listen and take up arms as the soundtrack for these chaotic times will be played by EKEN IS DEAD.

Saw the band @ The House of Blues a few weeks back. Put on a good show. Plus my buddy bought the album. show was great live and loud. I just thought the band would have a little harder style since the singer looks like Phil Anselmo's younger cousin. Overall you guys got a good thing goin' so good luck fellas
