I like a variety of music everything from classical to jazz to country,soft rock,hard rock,not into heavy metal or rap despise hip hop.Big hair band fan.My all time favorite contemporary christian music singer is Steven Curtis Chapman.I was able to meet him and get his autograph when he came to Freedom Hall Civic center.

Favorite movies would include, but not limited to; Superman (Donner version), Superman Returns (Bryan Singer),Spiderman,Fantastic Four,Star Wars,Star Trek,Indiana Jones,Back to the Future,The Great Escape (with Steve Mcqueen), Big Jake (John Wayne)

my favorite tv show is Smallville the best tv show on the tube if you ask me. I also like Stargate Atlantis, Heroes, and Prison Break, Eureka, Dr. Who, Sons of Anarchy, Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, The Soup, Bones, House, CSI, My own worst enemy, Lost, Fringe, Night Rider, Star Wars Clone Wars

Hello Everybody!For those of you out there who do not know me, my name is Matt Young.I have a beautiful wife named Brandi and two wonderful kids Skyler, and Mattisun.Currently I am employed at Fountain of Life Bible Church,www.flbconline.com.Where I serve as the Pastoral Assistant and I have recently become an ordained minister.Jesus has truly blessed me and my family.I praise God everyday for allowing me to work alongside a wonderful man of God like my father and the oppurtunity to spread the word.My church is a down to earth Bible believing church that believes in the inerrent infallible word of God.The church is widely known a the "Biker Church", because of so many bikers who attend.However we have a diverse group that attends.Everything from Doctors to Lawyers to Police Officers to Insurance Salesmen.We sometimes call the church the "Island of Misfit Toys", because everybody is welcome, espeacially those who may feel like they may not fit in at other churches.Hey if the preacher can have long hair and a beard, preach in a t-shirt and jeans, then we aren't going to get on you for what you wear.We believe that once in grace always in grace, in other words you can't lose your salvation.Once you make a profession of faith and ask Jesus into your heart, your name is written in the Lamb's book of life, and that will never change.
I have been through a lot in this life as I am sure many of you have.Each day is a struggle, it is tough being a christian.I feel that satan seems to attack even more so now that I am in the ministry.I have made a lot of mistakes in the past and satan sure doesn't let me forget.I hate that there are people out there that I have hurt and things that I have said and done that did not portray a christian attitude.All that I can do is press on and look towards the future and keep striving for the prize.I can't change the past, but I can make a difference in the here and now.Maybe I can make up for the wrong that I have done.Ultimately I just want everybody to know how much Jesus truly loves them.As I have told my kids and the teens I have taught at church, be open minded to the things of Christ and closed minded to the things of this world.Enough preaching for now, can't seem to help it, just second nature I guess.
Oh in case you were wondering, the "ekklesia" at the end of my myspace address means, "church". The term ekklesia was used to refer to a group of people called out to a meeting. I think that is fitting for myspace, after all we are a gruop of people meeting together.
Who I'd like to meet: If I could ever have the oppurtunity to meet anyone it would probably be comic book writer Stan Lee.Followed by Dean Cain and Brandon Routh both of which played superman,and oh yeah Tom Welling from smallville.I also wished I could have had the oppurtunity to meet Christopher Reeve.

If you click on it, you will either get a virus or get hacked. They make it look like it comes from a legimate person in your friends list. This is happening on facebook as well. Just don't click on the link.

Aww thanks Matt! We tried eating the top of our cake because I heard that's what you do on your first anniversary. I didn't like it too much(freezer burn) and spit it out. Skwurl was able to get a bite down though.
