I've also been slowly getting into jazz. I like Coltrane and Gillespie, but I still have a lot to learn. It's definitely stuff you have to pay attention to in order to really appreciate. You know, like the Pussycat Dolls.
I love teaching Hamlet, Julius Caesar, Animal Farm, Cyrano de Bergerac, Of Mice and Men, The Autobiography of Malcolm X, etc., but in all honesty, I mostly read comics in my spare time.
Cool current titles: Amazing Spider-Man, Captain America, Green Lantern, All Star Superman, Superman, Action Comics, Daredevil, Criminal, Y: The Last Man, The Walking Dead, Ex Machina, New Avengers, Mighty Avengers.
All time favorite comics: Preacher, Alan Davis' run on Excalibur, The original Hobgoblin saga in The Amazing Spider-Man, Grant Morrison's JLA, The first 25 issues of the original Thunderbolts, The first 25 issues of Nightwing, Mark Waid and Mike Wieringo's run on Fantastic Four.

I am glad to hear you are all doing good. I am jealous of the Wii at any rate. I have yet to use one actually. A bit depressing when I think about it since even my parents have. Haha. Oh well. I am sure it is all muscle. From what I hear, those things make you move around quite a bit, so it would be typical for you to gain some muscle with it. How is the book coming along?

I am really missing your English class now. That class was intelligent (for the most part at least). My professor here is great and everything, but because it is a requirement G.E. course, there are some really stupid people in here. I am certainly not Shakespeare, but I was peer reviewing in my class, and quite frankly I am surprised some of the people spelled the word "the" correctly. Much less used it correctly in a sentence. How do these people pass high school English? That said, how are you doing? Still a lot of people failing in your classes? I hope not, if nothing else for your sake. I would think it is more interesting when you have students that participate and are able to provide intelligent points. How are things going outside of school (I am no longer your student, I can ask that now)? How's your wife, pets, etc? Any fun trips coming up that I can envy?
