March News Letter...
Hey everyone! Some pretty excited news for this month, the band and I won the Hard Rock Cafe's battle of the bands finals in LA! Which means are videos are currently in the process of being judged in the national round. The National judged will pick 10 bands for the next round which will then be online voting. The top 4 bands get to head to London to play Hard Rock Calling festival at Hyde park. I will definitely keep you guys updated because we will really need your support and online votes if we make it to the next round.
The music video dates for Get Back Up have been set for the end of May... Looks like we will be filming it in a warehouse in LA and it's going to have a 60's theme as it talks about the sum of my unfortunate bad days, lol. More details TBA.

The Band and I will be playing an acoustic show at the Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood CA March 31st. It's a free show so come on out and get groovy with us! We will also be playing a residency every Sat night in April at the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood. Hope to see you there sometime next month!

The Band and I will be playing at the Ivy Hotel in Downtown San Diego April 28th for the RAW Artists event showcasing two fashion designers, 2 music artists, 2 makeup artists, 5 visual artists and a comedian and two DJ's. This is a really cool event and is on track to sell out so make sell out so make sure to try to get tickets early.
Still trying to get the EP finish... it's coming along nicely. I can't wait for you all to hear it ;) Should have a new song out toward the end of next month. That's all for now!! Till next month homies... Elaine -
Missing San Diego, but slowly falling for LA...
San Diego is amazing. Beautiful mild weather, clean, friendly people, traffics not that bad, and everything is like 15-20 min away from Ikea to the beach to hiking trails. City perks with a small town feel.
But there is something to be said about being a creative individual and in the center of a place brimming with creativity and talent. It's so inspiring and yet challenging. Every day since I've been here my head has been exploding with ideas.
LA is winning me over.

Currently in the process of planning a come back gig to SD in June with the band. My first official gig since I've been gone. There will be new music that I am so crazy exited to share and I should have some new stuff to give away too, so if you're in the area please stay tuned.
I'm hoping to plan an LA show towards the end of May... still new to the area and meeting all the lovely booking peoples out here.

Playing Indie Fest at 10pm tonight, Claire De Lune Women's History Stage. It'll be dopeness. Last show before I head out to LA for school. I'll have CD's on me to. Digital Distribution isn't going down till April 15th homies...
