I am a singer songwriter currently based in Montreal Quebec, Canada..... I play covers to earn a living, this current page, however, features my original solo project. .... I write music and lyrics. I produced these demos myself, at home, I played all the instruments and programmed the percussions and drums. This is not a finished product, but at least it gives an idea of the songs. My goal is to eventually get a band together to perform this material live. .... A little bit of background on my past experiences: I was the lead singer for now defunct 90's all-girl band Barbarella, we released a CD in the early 90's, all french songs, and had a few singles on radio, and a video, and we toured around the province of Quebec and Atlantic Canada. This adventure lasted a couple of years. .... I then went on touring and playing covers in various formats to earn a living since then, along with contributing to various original projects. Recently, I set up a modest home studio to allow me the autonomy and freedom to create my own music at my own pace. These demos are the result of my current artistic journey. .... Influences
I am a fan of Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, U2, Deep Purple, Scorpions, Mama's and Papa's, and also newer bands like Nightwish, Turisas, Tyr, Sonata Arctica, Blind Guardian...to name a few. I enjoy a blend of acoustic folk and hard rock, celtic and metal.
Sounds Like
A blend of rock and folk elements, a bit of celtic influences, sometimes on the border of gothic and progressive. I guess it's in the ear of the listener, depending on your own musical background. I leave the choice up to you.
