My bio is on my website, www.elainemiles.com, but I'll tell you here that this is not at all what I thought I'd be doing professionally, yet it has always consumed me and it's everything I dreamed it could be. Jazz is my world, though there are other genres that trip my trigger, and I venture there sometimes... Miles Away is my band, and we're usually a trio, sometimes a duo, not too often a quartet, and hardly ever a quintet, but only because of budgetary restraints:) We're mood setting, perfect with wine, a little exotic, usually mellow, intermittently upbeat, definitely sexy, rhythmically sweet and peachy. ..
