Since the age of fifteen, Almirante has admired artists like Chicho Man, Nando Boon and Carlito Soul. Although he has admired many, Almirante has emerged with his own style which he refers to as “Romantic Style” - a smooth melodic approach with inspiring words about love and romance.
Outside of the US, Almirante has performed in Ecuador, Chile, Costa Rica, Honduras, Colombia, Haiti, and Panama and in the US, New York, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, California, Texas, Florida and Atlanta, where fans flooded his shows raving about Almirante - the vocal dynamo.
While he is best known for his mix tapes, his self entitled album, "El Almirante", and over 53 hit singles with various accomplished artists, it doesn't stop there. He has received the Most Romantic Singer Award, participated in televised events and major concerts like CaribFest, made guest appearances on Teleton 20/30 and endorsed Rockland Sneakers. Almirante's upcoming debut album entitled “Abriendo Puertas”, recorded in New York City on Pioneer Records, is causing a stir all over Central and South America. The album contains twenty songs with a mixture of R&B, Reggae, Reggaeton, Dancehall, Culture and Rap – an album that will definitely have you moving and take you through different moods and emotions. Almirante toured and is doing promotions for his new album in Colombia, hitting up locations in Bogota, the capital, Barranquilla, Cali, and Cartagena. From there, he toured in Costa Rica moving crowds in San Jose. He returned to Panama to do charity events for the Minister of Social Development in Panama for troubled teenagers.Now in the US, Almirante has performed at the “China Club” in New York City, the “Tropical Music Concerts at Orchard Beach” in Newyork City were he also appeared in the New York Times, in Bethlehem Pa, at the “Borinquen Fest,” in Fayetteville Nc at the “Gottham City Night Club”, in New Haven Conn, at the “Carnaval Loiza Aldea”, at the “Colombian Day Fest” in Brent Wood Long Island, in Holyoke, Massachusetts at the “Puerto Rican Day Fest”, in Bethlehem Pa at the “Music Fest”, in Fayetteville Nc at the “Reggae Fest”, in Myrtel Beach South Carolina at "club tequila" at Wilmington Nc at the “Concierto en vivo" Almirante wants his fans to be inspired.
