The BackDoor is located at The Nyack Center, 58 Depew Ave, Nyack, NY, 10960 on the corner of Broadway and Depew. Shows usually start at 7pm and end at 10:45pm. There is a $5 suggested donation unless otherwise indicated. No Moshing, Drinking, Drugs or Smoking. You know the deal.

*IMPORTANT NOTE TO PERFORMERS*(see below): So you found us on myspace! If you've never been to the BackDoor here's what you need to know. BackDoor is not a venue. BackDoor is a multi-faceted cultural experience geared towards the teenagers of Rockland County, run by teens (all booking is done during our Tuesday night meetings.) Please make the effort to fill out the application (see blog post) and submit via email (backdoorcafe@gmail.com), snail mail or drop by a meeting on Tuesdays. WE DO NOT ACCEPT APPLICATIONS SENT VIA MYSPACE. In the meantime, friend us on myspace. You will get updates and it will be easier to stay in touch with the staff.

Performer: a person who portrays a role, or demonstrates a skill on stage for an audience. That means you POETS, ACTORS, ACCORDIONISTS,SINGERS, PIANISTS, VIOLINISTS, OBOE PLAYERS, MIMES, JUGGLERS, BATON TWIRLERS, ARTISTS, RAPPERS, DJS, DANCERS, AIR GUITARISTS, AND THERE ARE PLENTY MORE OUT THERE.
