When there’s three feet of snow on the ground, it’s ten below, and my soul’s sagging, I head straight to this roadside joint. It feels like an escape to Mexico, but I come for the medicine: margaritas made with silver tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, and a splash of pomegranate juice. The first sip tumbles through my ice-cubed body. Then, a lick of salt, a crunch of homemade tortilla chip, and another sip. The world settles and warms, the guitar music sinks deeper. there truly isnt a more lovely town then brunswick. i spent a few years in maine and was completely heartbroken to leave brunswick behind. it will always remain cherished in my heart. i loved going to el camino and drinking black cherry sodas at the bar with seth and ben. my heart will always ache for my days in brunswick and el camino.
I'll be home May 7-15th! Warm up a bar stool for me, there is mass consumption of Pacifico to be had! Can't wait to see you all. Kate will be here soon, Seth and I are wicked excited! Miss you!
