Nacido en 1967 en Sacromonte, Granada (España), el crece en un ambiente musical extraordinario. Proviene de una dinastía histórica del Sacromonte entre quienes destaca su bisabuela “La Faraona” y “Las Chonicas”, bailaoras de las que Curro Albayzin da referencia en su libro “Cancionero del Sacromonte”. Con tan sólo 9 años de edad siente ya su vocación de guitarrista e inicia sus primeros intentos creativos.
Profesionalmente comienza tocar la guitarra a los catorce años en la cueva de su madre donde se especializa a tocar para el baile. Posteriormente comienza a trabajar en los tablaos Corral del Príncipe o Reina Mora. Y en numerosos festivales acompañado a Juan Andrés Maya, Manuel Liñán, Joaquín Fajardo y un largo etc.
A los 25 años comparte cartel con remedios Amaya, Juanito Valderrama, Capullo de Jerez, Chocolate, Macanita, etc. Actúa en países como Finlandia, Ucrania, Francia, Alemania, Maruecos, Japón y Estados Unidos.
Toca con artistas tan reconocidos como Farruquito, Manolete, Mario Maya y Jaime "El Parrón", Curro Albayzin, entre otros.
En su ciudad natal se prodiga por festivales y Peñas Flamencas, actuando numerosas veces en el Palacio de Congresos, el Teatro Manuel de Falla y el Teatro Isabel la Católica.
Participa en los discos “Graná…baila por tangos”, “Al Aire de Graná” y “Entre el Ciprés y el Jazmín”. A destacar también sus actuaciones en el Teatro Apolo de Barcelona con Manuel Liñán y en Casa Patas (Madrid). Participó como guitarrista acompañante en el cursillo de Javier La Torre.
Ha cantado para personalidades del mundo de la política y la cultura como los Reyes de España, los de Siria, Antonio Banderas y Andy García (en el estreno de su película “La Ciudad Perdida”).

Born in Granada, Spain, Antonio Heredia Heredia grew up in an extraordinary musical tradition. He comes from a historical gypsy dynasty from Sacromonte among which were his great grandmothers La Faraona and Las Chonicas, dancers to whom Curro Albayzyn refers to in his book “Singer of Sacromonte”. Antonio made his first creative attempts with the guitar at the age of nine.
Professionally, he started playing the guitar at fourteen, in the cave of his mother, where he specialized at playing for dancing. Later, he started to play at the flamenco tablaos Corral del Príncipe and Reina Mora and at numerous festivals accompanying Juan Andrés Maya, Manuel Liñán, and Joaquín Fajardo, among others. At the age of twenty five, he shared stage with masters like Amaya, Juanito Valderrama, Capullo de Jerez, Chocolate, and Macanita.
Antonio has had concerts in many countries including Spain, Finland, Ucraine, France, Germany, Morocco, Japan and the United States and plays with artists like Juan Maya, Farruquito, Manolete, Mario Maya, Jaime "El Parrón", and Curro Albayzin. He has played, and also sang, for celebrities like the Kings of Spain and Syria, Antonio Banderas and most recently, Andy Garcia, at the premiere of his film “The Lost City” in Malaga.
In his native city, Granada, he can be seen at all the major festivals of music and dance, as well as flamenco tablaos, and at such prestige venues as the Palace of Congress, Theater Manuel de Falla and Theater Isabel Catolica, in Barcelona -Teatro Apolo de Barcelona with Manuel Liñán and in Casa Patas (Madrid).
Antonio has recorded several discs, including “Grana-dancing tangos”, “The air of Grana”, “Cantes Afuera”, and “Between the Cypress and the Jasmin”
