Our mission is to graduate creative, culturally-grounded students who excel in bilingual and bicultural environments, and who are prepared for college, employment and community leadership.
El Colegio Charter School invites current and former students, as well as other community members and organizations to be our “friends.” While we strongly believe in the right to freedom of expression, we are a public high school that supports education, arts, culture, and preparation for college. Our school’s core values are safety, responsibility, success and respect. Friends’ MySpace profiles may have content that is inconsistent with our values, and they do not represent our school or our values. We may or may not choose to maintain “friends” with people whose profiles do not support our values.

Hey!!! awww thanks, well I guess I've been alright you know hopefully i'll be done with school in like a couple of months finally! lol && yea, hopefully I'll go and bring my lil one. He has gotten big, he is 2 now! && how is everybody doing?

I just wanted to stop by to say hello and give you a little update on what Blood Root Mother is up to! We will be recording an EP of new music in August, and we recently finished recording a live DVD. The DVD is currently unreleased and I actually just saw it for the first time a few days ago. It features the last two performances with Tony Ellis still alive, and some footage from the tribute show we played on the night of his funeral.
There are some cool covers, as well as some NEW music that will be on our upcoming EP. We're very excited about the new music and we'd like to share a sneak peak with you. Here's a video of a new tune called Run Bobby Run:
