EL CONDORSITO
Spanish lyrics, Jamaican Dancehall and Reggae Riddims pressed on vinyl, an open mic session: that’s the picture we have of EL CONDORSITO. Since 1999 he’s to be found on nearly every bigger stage in Europe as Bassrunner Soundtribe with “Selecta Loopus”, no matter whether it’s the “Sziget” festival in Hungary, the “Rototom” in Udine, Italy , the “Exit” festival in Yugoslavia, the “Carneval of Cultures” in Berlin, Germany or the “Hip-Hop Camp” in Czech Republic.
In the period from 2002-2005 “Angelito” was released, there was a cooperation with the Austrian Reggae-Band “House of Riddim”.And also “Burning”(feat. Taffari),in addition “Mis deseos”(Tragedy Riddim) and “No mas”(Chapter two – House Riddim) were all produced in the “House of Riddim” Studios and all published by their homelabel “Bassrunner Production”.
In 2006 CONDORSITO decided to move to Berlin to record songs for different projects like “King Orle”(One Riddim sampler), “Monzly Riddim”(Ganjaman Project), “Revolution” and “My way” for the album “Unity” of the Czech band “United Flavour”, “esta noche” for Bassrunner Productions and his two EPs “Todo se cambia” and “Amigos”.
EL CONDORSITO’s show leads the audience through a varied range of different genres of music like Reggae, Dancehall and Reggaeton. His music is a portrait of a multicultural world, which “Pupa Condor” was able to get to know on his travels, and as a result of which he has gained inspiration time and time again, inspiration which he then shares with his audience.
We can all really look forward to his new album in 2009.
