Awwwww... When we bring out the cute polar bear pix, you know we're serious about saving the planet. Join the League this Saturday 4/21 as we do our part for the city-wide A Year In A Day effort:
Campus area recycling. Meet at The Blue Danube (2439 N. High) 11am-12, then we'll go pick up the cans & bottles. We'll provide gloves and trash bags.
Drink & Dial your elected officials re: green legislation. On the patio at Bodega, 6-8 pm 1044 N. High St. Bring your cell phone, we'll provide the digits & talking points.

*Unplug unused electronics. Even when electronic devices are turned off, they use energy. Save over 1,000 lbs of carbon dioxide per year.
*Replace 3 frequently used light bulbs with compact fluorescent bulbs, and save 300 lbs. of carbon dioxide per year.
*Take shorter showers. Showers account for 2/3 of all water heating costs. Save 350 lbs. of carbon dioxide per year.
