Got introduced to Hip-hop music right off the streets of "The Bronx" through boom boxes and block parties, but it took me years before I grasp the culture I was already embed. Good Looks! "(Video Music Box) Ralph McDaniels" That's Old School for real. lol! 1996 was the year I could say I really got into the music, in terms of wantin' to know more about it. I think it was the song "Dear Mama" by 2pac, that got me into wantin' to rap. But definately in 1998 when newcomer DMX dropped "It's Dark and Hell is HoT, then following after that "Flesh of my Flesh - Blood of my Blood, And then there was X" really did it for me. DON'T FRONT! Those were some hot albums and still is.
