New El Doghouse Album available here from Gaztelupe Sounds! Richard Dudanksi was living in a squat in West London many years ago when he met a fellow named John Mellor, who then went by the name of Woody. They started up a band in the basement of the squat, which came to be called the 101ers. Woody changed his stage name to Joe Strummer. Later, of course, Joe went on to form the Clash. Richard, meanwhile, did drum stints with PIL, the Raincoats and others. He moved to Granada, Spain, back in the late 1980s.
Tom Lardner also moved to Spain in 1990. Living in Madrid for 8 years, he played in a number of bands, most importantly La Pocilga de Tio Tom - a strange kind of garage-bluegrass band, if that can be said to exist. Tom moved to Granada in 1998, and formed another band - the Country Dogs.
Richard and Tom began to play together several years later. Upon the untimely death of his friend, Joe Strummer, Richard organized several tribute concerts - one in London and another in El Sacromonte, Granada. He recruited Tom to do the lead vocals and rhythm guitar for the project, which included a reunion of the original 101ers in The Tabernacle, in London.
As a result of this collaboration, the two went on to form El Doghouse. They recorded their first album "In Heat" in 2004-2005, which was released on Andalucia Records - an independent label created by Richard and Joe Strummer years ago to release the 101ers material. They have been playing regularly since, having also appeared on Spanish television and radio.
In 2006 they recorded and issued a limited-edition pre-release of their second album, "Screamin..". That was followed by the release of a 12" vinyl maxi-single, featuring the funk/punk serving of "Shut Up". Over the course of the the following 2 years, El Doghouse continued to compose, record and put the finishing touches of their second full album, "Howl". The 15 song CD has been released by the Basque label Gaztelupeko Hotsak (and is available for 7 euros at their website). Richard and Tom are currently joined by Jose Carlos Cuevas (Josu) on the bass, Eneko Alberdi Laskurain on electric guitar and at times by All Freedom Martinez on the harp.

Se acerca la esperada fecha de la presentación de Alhandal en eléctrico, cita que coincide estos días con la publicación del segundo sencillo del próximo disco del grupo, Raíces. Con este motivo y con el fin de hacer llegar su música a todos, la banda regalará el disco "Ininteligible 2.0" a todas las personas que asistan al evento cuyas entradas ya se encuentran a la venta en las taquillas del Teatro de Las Lagunas.
Los tickets, numerados por asiento, tienen un precio de 5€ y con su adquisición se regalará el citado disco. El horario de venta al público es de miércoles a viernes de 17:00 a 20:00 y dos horas antes el día del espectáculo.
