About me: So... wheel has turned, summer's been splendid and suprising, and here we are preparing for autumnal busy-ness and looking ahead to a season of coziness and cockle-warming musical gatherings, like wot we knew and loved back in the Eldon. One of our wenches has close ties with this charmer of a pub, The Barley Mow, which is just off Old Market, Bristol. It is being run with a similar sense of festivity to how we ran the Eldon, and is likely to warm up into another gem of a destination pub for the discerning amongst ya. We are conspiring to reanimate the Sunday Sessions for Open Mic and other events. The Barley Mow is the first stop on a new and curious tour of Bristol's best venues for acoustic music and off-the-wall parties. Watch this space with interest...
Copy and paste this link for a map to the pub: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=bs2+0LF&ie=UTF8&ll=51.453312,-2.577474&spn=0.006579,0.013733&z=16
Who I'd like to meet: General Genius, Ample Appetites, Droll Drunkards and Graduates of the School of Silliness.

Hey Emma, sorry I couldn’t get back to you sooner I’ve been away on tour. I think I was in Brighton the night of you’re gig I hope it went well. Give me a heads up if you’re playing again.
If world domination includes: going for weeks without sleep, crashing on random sofas, taking epic thirteen hour bus journey’s coz I’m too much of a screb to afford the train, catching several strains of mucus based maladies, getting all me poesy robbed, smelling like John Prescot’s perineum and Looking like Tinkerbelle the crack pixie then I’m all fucking over it
Hopefully see you on Monday but if not, keep in touch and I’ll come and holler like an aroused gibbon at yer next gig. xx
I'm actually coming up to Bristol today for a gig tonight at the Blue Lagoon. But I have to be back for Friday for work and gigs, otherwise I would have loved to have come to that. Bugger.... You about later???

Thanks for the add. Hope to make it up to the open mic someday. In the meantime, here's a little something I cooked up recently called "The Green Man Cometh". It seemed to go down well at Glastonbury this year. Hope you like it.
Emma! I NEVER Check myspace anymore! I logged on to say hi to my sis, and saw your email with Zoe from months ago!
hey lets be in touch, yes I did tie the knot, hell yeah! I might be tooling through your side of the marble this summer, so lets try to pencil in a G&T shall we? again, hell yeah! All is pretty swell here in chicago, though I miss you good natured English types a lot. Americans just don't know how to live. but damnit we might just get a good president soon, so keep yer fingers crossed...
About bloody time 'n all. Where you been all summer, eh? Enjoying yourself?!!! Get that mic out, warm that cider, sing us a bloody song!! x x x 10 tons of fun.
Hello, Barley Mow! Names change and so do the seasons...
