About me:
Its been a dream of mine for more years than I can remember and now I am living it. We have begun as a small horse rescue here in north western Arizona outside a small town called Wikieup AZ, population 300. We are off the grid which means we have no electricity, water etc. This computer is run by a generator, soon to be solar driven. Its all baby steps here as we have begun on raw open land. We now have 25 horses, probably 30 by the time you read this as 5 more are on the way, either abused, injured or abandoned. Many are Wild Mustangs, untrained, waiting to be rehabilitated. My goal is in the years to come to have a horse rescue and rehab ranch that is actually run by older abused kids out of Foster Programs,so that they inturn can help younger abused kids with the help of the horses. Hopefully sometime this year we can file as a non profit organization and be recognised as such.
The ranch is built out of donated materials: railroad ties, pipe, lots of fencing materials etc. supplied by lots of friends in the local area. Right now we are building extra holding pens in case we get overwhelmed with horses. Lately many more horses have been coming in due to the high prices on hay in Arizona. And many smaller rescues have had to close there gates due to funding so many animals. With the Lord's help in the next 5 years we should get things pretty well organized and then the best part begins. Bringing in troubled children and letting them heal themselves with troubled horses. Miracles do happen, every day, and these horses are very special. We are always looking for more friends to help, hopefully soon, after we get the non profit organization papers filed we can have fundraisers with musicians and artists of all kinds.

Who I'd like to meet:
I would be very interested in meeting people who think they could help. I have described in the briefest way what my ideas are, but ofcourse there is much much more. We will have many fundraising BBQs with live bands and musicians donating their talents. This dream is sooooo big there's lots of room for everyone. And yes I am single and would love to meet the right woman to fit into all this. As long as she understands I plan to spend the rest of my life building this ranch. I plan to have a website soon with all our horses profiles up there, showing training progress, offering sponsorhips of individual horses or kids involved in the program. We're just begining so there is a lot of room here for new ideas.
