Through interaction with horses and nature, and through the histories of our rescued horses, our programs teach key principles of life, such as the power of sharing, tolerance, respect, appreciation, cause and effect, and that each of us makes a powerful difference. This one-of-a-kind approach imparts knowledge as a powerful character-building tool which enhances our everyday lives. Experience life from a new perspective!
Myspace Contact Tables
ElDustberry's special "Outdoor Classroom" program is available for large groups; such as private schools, Scout groups, and other special needs/educational groups. We have a small picnic area and restrooms on the premises. So make your next excursion an unforgettable and valuable experience for your little ones!! And don't forget your camera!
We also offer private, one on one therapy/teaching sessions for anyone with a desire to get closer to nature through horses. We make a difference!!
Who I'd like to meet: Everyone is welcome! We embrace any and all people with special needs, and the people who love them! We work with cancer patients, child or adult, during or after treatment. We also work with children and adults with autism, HIV/AIDS, physical or learning disabilities, substance abuse recovery, and at-risk youth. Our programs empower healing of all kinds, creating relationships built on trust and mutual respect, and enriching one's sense of self and well being. We teach basic, natural, and gentle horsemanship skills, which soothe the mind, body and spirit. We focus on interaction on the ground to create a bonding relationship, which allows for a more trusting riding relationship. We never use saddles, bits, or shoes with any of our horses. All of our horses are rescues, and have been lovingly rehabilitated to work with children from all walks of life. Each horse has a story that helps kids understand the concepts of compassion and empathy.
Our lessons enhance self-esteem, confidence and compassion toward animals and our fellow humans!

EL DUSTBERRY WILL NOW OPERATE FROM CAMP JOSEPHO IN RUSTIC CANYON, WHICH IS LOCATED IN PACIFIC PALISADES! CAMP JOSEPHO IS THE HOME OF THE BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA, WHICH IS IN ALLIANCE WITH EL DUSTBERRY.
WE WILL STILL OFFER THE SAME SERVICES, AND NEW SERVICES WILL INCLUDE TRAIL RIDES AND SLEEP OVERS! WE'RE VERY EXCITED ABOUT OUR NEW HOME, AND ALL THE NEW SERVICES WE WILL NOW BE ABLE TO OFFER. WOO HOO!!
