Gabriel Nieto aka cHMa, was born in Mexico city in 1977. Since his first lived days cHMa was influeced by any style of music, mainly 60's, 70's, & 80's because his father was a music lover. He began to listen to electronic music around 1989 like Technotronic and Depeche Mode bands; while he was growing his fascination for electronic music was increase, techno, house, trance progressive were his favorites styles. But in 2002 thanks to his brother, cHMa knew some softwares to mix and produce music, like traktor, fruity loops then he decided to produce music beginnin for his mainly influences: house and techno, it was until cHMa heard about minimalism electronic sounds thanks to efcollecctives like Konfort & Filtro in México; two importants netlabels from there. Helped for some memebers of Konfort cHMa has gone improve his style, productions and sound.

In 2006 He knew some netlabels like Bumpfoot and Shift, where you can find some free EP's: "Dias Bajo Nubes", "Medios Bajos" " Treinta" & "Frecuencias 2507". In his free time cHMa also had make some rarely mixes about minimal deep and minimal techno published in two important net mixes label: Sonicwalker and Loopzilla in these nets you can find some dj sets by cHMa "17 reasons to play minimal","Sin prejuicio auditivo", "De Recoleta a Puerto Madero" and "Minimal es cultura". cHMa has been working in alter project producing electronic music with prehispanical influences, his work has published in Technotilan records "Serpiente y Agulia" and colaborating with his brother Sr Ruido "Templo Mayor", Technotitlarecords is a net label dedicated to promote this new style of electronic music.

Now cHMa has a great minimalism collection. His favorites artist are Akufen, Murcof, Richiew Hawtin, Luomo, Matthew Herbert,Gaston Arevalo, Gustavo Lamas, Matthew Dear, Luciano,Thomas Felmman, Juraggaen Papae, Dettinger and others, his favorite record labels are Kompakt, M_nus Pokerflat, & Ghostly and his favorite net labels are Bumpfoot, Shift, Technotitlanrecords, Yuki Yaki, Esperanza,Thinnerism, Igloo and other important around netlabel scene.

cHMa doesn..t hate commercial electronic music but he prefers to listen to advantage electronic music; electronic music with new propose, music with other sense because cHMa always has thought that the music is good medicine for the soul for the body.
