About me: I grew up overseas and love to travel. I’ve been almost everywhere - try me- and have learned a lot from my travels. I love to travel, but have done a lot of it by myself- mostly because it's too hard to organize my friends. I've traveled to over 30 countries within 6 continents. I spent 9 months backpacking solo around SE Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji when I was 23-24. I wish I could take time and do that again, but life and my mortgage seems to not allow for that. I still travel when I can, though and try to get out of the country once a year, or at least every other. I’ve written some stories about some of my adventures, published in Insite magazine a couple of years back. I’ll try almost anything once (sometimes twice. Love Alamo Draft house-food and movies! Love to dance- to anything. I skate with the Texas Rollergirls "Hustlers", but am all lady when I need to be. My mom taught me manners! I've worked in the travel industry, service industry (hotel, wait, cater, bar), Art business, done upholstery, photography, you name it- jack of all trades, I guess. ..
If you haven't already, you should definitely go check out my newest entry on my new page! It's the Knocktoberfest bout recap that featured the Emerald City Rollergirls, Bellingham Roller Betties, Slaughter County Roller Vixens and the hostesses with the mostesses, Rainy City Roller Dolls.
And while you are on that page, you should definitely subscribe to my blog there. If you do that, each time I post something new on there, an email will be sent to you with the direct link. Not only that, but you can also leave comments on there at the bottom of the entry.
And not to mention the Examiner has a LOT of other cool, interesting stories on it. Whether you are here in the Puget Sound area or anywhere else in the United States, there are plenty of topics you can read about!
Loved partyin' at the Jackalope....but ya still didn't tell me how to fix yer favorite drink. ALTHOUGH...if ya give five of 'em to Cookie Rumble and Vega Vendetta when the DDG come to town next month, Cookie will probably start a dance contest, and Vega will probably laugh herself hoarse trying to win it...and by morning nobody but Killbox will remember there was a bout a couple hours earlier.
hell ya.. i gave him a wet one :) sorry i won't be at the championship game to cheer my Hustlers on -- I'll be in Chicago -- thanks for the birthday wishes....see you soon! kick ass on Sunday!
They said it 39 years ago today: Moishe: I'm really gettin' excited. Sylvia: It will pass, Moishe. Moishe: But Sylvia, I'm REALLY gettin' excited. Sylvia: It will pass, Moishe. Moishe: Do you remember our wedding night? Sylvia: Of course, Moishe. Moishe: I asked if you'd give me a b__wj_b, and you told me, "When man walks on the moon!"
I've already got a present for you, m'dear, but it's not a sari -- the only way you're ever getting a sari is to come here with me sometime in the future, when I return here for a second trip :)
