Experimental Synth Music ..
In the beginning back in early 80s.. Myself and best friend Patrick{who has since sadly passed away} Met mentor Jon Kerry who was teaching synth songwriting from using Roland sh101s, sh09s, string machines, Korgs, yamahas ,drumatix drum machines, etc which culminated in an eventual collaboration. Started off as Synth act Blue Vision/Warehouse and later for a short duration renamed Out of the Blue ; Jon Kerry {see Sunfish profile below this page } Patrick Walsh{RIP} and myself Roy PJ Mullin.
Later formed Nimbus {mk1} with Steve Bonshor & Karen Whiting and then based in Brighton/Hove. Both Steve [Bon]{see Screamingegos profile below this page} and Karen had previously worked with other bands {see kazbahs profile below this page] Nimbus mk1 the second incarnation of Nimbus was carried on for a while in a more punk /new wave style by Steve and Karen with a new line up {though i did some synth work on a couple of tracks} i had since returned to Nottingham to live.Worked on various other projects Revolva which was a project including a guest vocalist resulting in a one off cover version of Depeche Modes puppets and another project Siochanta{meaning peaceful, in Gaelic}vocals and words and initial tune by Maggie Walsh{RIP} & Blue Savannah with myself contributing with keyboards/synths & Fead'og { Irish penny whistle/flute} . A song written for Clic Sargent charity{ A charity for children with cancer} which has an ethereal celtic feel to it, and a style that i hope to re visit in the future. Also worked on one off Grantham town fc Grantham anthems football cd with Bon { who was the main writer behind the project} and Karen and others .The cd was made available for purchase with most of the proceeds going to the football club. Electraset has since come to being.Myself Steve and Karen have finalised work on a new mini album entitled Terminus. Two tracks ''Thought of you and Sometimes love from the album includes some production work on these two tracks by ex Warehouse bandmate Jon Kerry {Sunfish} ,and finally recorded/engineered in Nottingham, at Psyrex soundlab. hello kitties! thanks for accepting. I love your tracks, especially the "all nighter". O.k. everyone praises the quality of your music, so I won't have to. just this one... I showed to people who, unlike me, don't like electronic music at all. Surprise... they loved it, too.
